Mute Waters

The project was photographed along the Xiang River in my hometown of Hunan, China between 2020 and 2021. It represents a self-rescue during the most chaotic times, with nature as my love, photography as my companion, and a heightened awareness of my higher self over my lesser self.

It has now been self-published as a photo book and was also exhibited at the Shanghai Art Book Fair in 2023, and remains on sale.
